Lifeline Program
What Is Lifeline? Lifeline is a federal program designed to make communications services more affordable for low-income consumers. Lifeline provides a monthly discount on broadband Internet service, voice service, or bundled voice-broadband packages offered by participating wireline or wireless providers.
Who Is Eligible? Eligibility for the Lifeline program is based on either income level or participation in certain federal assistance programs such as Medicaid, Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), Supplemental Security Income (SSI), Federal Public Housing Assistance (FPHA), or certain Tribal programs. Eligibility can also extend to those with an income at or below 135% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines.

Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP)
What Is the ACP? The Affordable Connectivity Program is a federal initiative aimed at ensuring households can afford the broadband they need for work, school, healthcare, and more. It is a longer-term replacement for the Emergency Broadband Benefit (EBB) program.
Who Is Eligible? ACP eligibility is broader than Lifeline, including households with an income at or below 200% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines, or participation in certain government assistance programs like Lifeline, Medicaid, SNAP, SSI, FPHA, Veterans Pension and Survivors Benefit, or Pell Grants for the current award year.
